Sonny Hunt . |
|
| Sonny started playing drums when he was about eight years old and he was always playing in neighborhood bands with his buddies. He started playing guitar when he was sixteen and tried to be as good as Jeff Beck. Later he also picked up the bass and spent some years playing keyboards. The first rock band he played with was "Timber". They played high school dances etc. In his senior year he joined "Wake", a rock band that would practice for hours every day after school. They played colleges throughout the mid south. After that he played in and with so many of his friends and also with the Tony Spinner Band! Sonny really enjoys the material they are playing in the Tony Spinner Band. Lately he's been trying to pick up some country chops that he might be able to incorporate into his guitar style. One of the main reasons he wanted to play with Tony is that he thought he might be able to steal some of his chops! Tony has been a great inspiration to Sonny. He has never played with anyone that has the love for the guitar and music like he does. "I know I have to be at my best when the band performs. That's the way it should be and I know I'll become a better player because of it". And now Sonny has become a great inspiration for the boys in the band, Rory and Leif and still feels he has to be at his best when the band performs.

| Han Neijenhuis . | |
The first gig of Han was February 1979 in Lichtenvoorde, a gig that he will never forget. His first band, very young and probably not so good, but the crowd went crazy so that was Rock & Roll. Since then there´s nothing much changed. Han started playing in a blues oriented rock band and still (classic) rock and blues are the mainstream music styles of the bands he is playing in since. Between 2005 and 2009 Han was a member of the Tony Spinner band and toured with this band through Holland, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Denmark and Sweden. They also recorded 2 albums. The time he wasn´t on the road with Tony, he joined the heavy blues band called Rob Orlemans & Half Past Midnight.

| Dick Stam . | |
Dick was interested in music from the day he was born. During his first crying sessions as a baby he developed his bluesy voice and when he grew up his lifestyle helped him with the rest of the development. Dick is not only a vocalist but he also plays the bass. Probably because bass playing and singing are a good match. In 1996 he released his first album with The Dirty White Boys called Just a Dirty White Boy. A year later the live album The DWB Alive and Kicking at The BBC followed. The period after the live album was filled with touring and in between he was working as tour manager for Dick Dale, Nils Lofgren, Mothers Finest, Tony Spinner, to name a few. Lightning designer for Helloween, Anthrax, Jeans, and many more. Guitar and bass technician for several artists like Joe Stump, Jack Bruce, Alvin Lee, Pat Travers, Tony Spinner and many more. In 2004 Dick released the album Love & Affection From My Soul and four years later the album Captain Heartbeat Live. At that moment he was also tour manager for the Tony Spinner Band with Sonny Hunt and when Sonny needed a band to perform his own shows Dick had the solution, Sonny Hunt & The Dirty White Boys. In 2007 Sonny Hunt and The Dirty White Boys recorded the album Nashville Blues Sessions in Nashville. The album was released in January 2008 and a DVD was recorded at the Culemborg Blues Night. |

| Rory de Kievit. | |
When Rory, at the age of 10 years, started playing the guitar it soon came clear that this was no joke. For hours and hours he practiced and in no time he played songs of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. On high school (Music Academy) he developed his talent and showed great interest in all kinds of music styles. Also in this period he starts writing and composing songs, which in 2007 led to the release of his first cd “Musical Journey”. This instrumental fusion/jazz cd received beautiful reviews in MusicMaker and Musicfrom.nl |

| Leif de Leeuw. | |
Leif started playing the guitar when he was nine years old. That was just a few years ago given the fact that he is 15 years old at this moment. His father took him to a concert of Johnny Winter in 2006 and from that moment on the blues was part of his musical life. His talent developed quickly and other bands began to notice. He was asked to be guest guitarist by several bands like: Radical Roosters, Brad Snyder, Bluesmotel, F.O.G Blues band and Sonny Hunt. In 2009 Leif won the Sena Guitar Awards and the jury was impressed by his style, technique and expression. When Sonny Hunt came to Holland for a tour in 2010, Leif was asked to join the band. Leif said yes and a unique blues rock formation was born. A blues-rock band with 3 guitarists with their own style, blues, rock and fusion. After the tour with Sonny, Leif has formed his own blues rock band. At this moment the band is playing covers but they are working hard to write their own material. |
